Which prop firm actually pays?
We modelled 10 popular 50K plans from Tradeify, FundedNext, Lucid Trading, Blue Guardian and Legends at the promo price each firm is showing today. For each one: what it costs to get funded, how often you get paid, and what's left after fees.
The ranking
Every plan is priced with today's promo and played the way that suits its rules best. Tap a row for the step-by-step game plan.
The game plan
Pick a firm and a plan: what to pay, what to risk, when to withdraw, and what it adds up to.
How we worked it out
Same trader, same maths, different rulebooks. Only the rules change from plan to plan.
One trade a day
Each day you risk a set amount for a set target. With no edge, your chance of winning is exactly what makes the trade break even. Your edge nudges it up or down. Every trade also costs $20 in commission and slippage.
Every rule enforced
Trailing drawdowns and when they lock, daily loss limits, consistency rules, winning-day minimums, buffers, payout caps, profit splits and fees. Each plan's outcome is solved exactly, not simulated.
The best way to play it
For every plan we test hundreds of risk sizes, daily targets and withdrawal sizes, and keep the one that ranks best. That's the game plan you see, so plans are compared at their best.
Why do most plans show a profit even with no edge?
Because the fee is small next to the payout. You risk $100–$200 on an evaluation, and a funded account that gets paid returns $1,000 or more. With no edge, roughly 1 in 3 evaluations passes and 1 in 4 or 5 funded accounts reaches a payout, which is often enough to cover the fees. That only holds if you follow the plan exactly: real traders tilt, overtrade and break rules. Switch the edge to −3% to see how fast the margin shrinks, and treat every figure here as a best case.
Why is my chance of a payout so low?
Most funded accounts fail before the first payout at every firm. A $2,000 trailing drawdown is small next to the $3,000+ you often need before a withdrawal is allowed. Results are lumpy: a batch of 20 evaluations can easily finish behind, which is why each plan shows the chance you finish ahead.
Which rules couldn't you confirm?
Legends Trading's knowledge base blocks automated access, so its funded (Master) payout rules come from third-party reports. Those rules are marked Unverified and Legends plans carry a flag in the ranking. Everything else was checked on the firm's own site or help centre on the date shown at the top.
Which prices do you use?
By default, the promo price each firm shows on its own site, with the code it names, on the date at the top. Promos make a big difference: a cheaper evaluation lowers the cost of every attempt, so it can move a plan several places in the ranking. Where a deal only covers your first accounts (FundedNext), the first purchase uses the deal price and retries use the normal price. Lucid's site names code VAULT but doesn't show the discount, so we assume 30% off. Switch to Full list price to see the plans without any code.
What isn't included?
Platform and data fees, payout denials, rule changes after the check date, live-account results after a firm moves you live, multi-account bundle discounts, and any promo that starts or ends after the check date. Promos and rules change often: check the firm's site before you buy.
